Men and Anti-Aging

man_beautyMen are less likely than women to actively care about anti-aging products and regimen. Despite this, men as likely as women to suffer from the visible signs of aging. Though men are not apt to use anti-aging products, the results can be quite rewarding. Just a small amount of money and time can vastly improve a man’s physical appearance.

There are many anti-aging lotions on the market designed specifically for me. A lotion containing SPF is an even better buy as it protects the skin cells from further damage as well as moisturizing dry skin. Moisturizing dry skin also produces a stronger barrier of protection from the elements in which a man is consistently exposed to. If the lotion contains no perfume, a man is more likely to use it consistently as he won’t find it to be feminine.

In addition to moisturizing a man’s skin with lotions, a man must also make sure to increase his water intake to the necessary daily amount. It is generally a rule to consume 64 ounces of water per day. Water will help the skin cells work efficiently and will help to combat wrinkles and other signs of aging. Lowering the intake of complex carbohydrates and refined sugars will also help the skin to look healthier and younger.

My husband does not use any kind of anti-aging products and I keep trying to talk him into using what I use! LOL! Actually our family believes in only using natural ingredients on our skin and olive oil has been our best friend for moisturizer! I take my daily Vidazorb OPC age defense and am really wanting him to take them too since they are natural and help fight aging! I will keep working on this for sure!
