La Prairie Anti-Aging Collection

Submitted by Mensvita on 01/18/2010 No Comment |

la_prairieLa Prairie has added to its eye portfolio with the new Anti-Aging Anti-Wrinkle Eye Line Filler. It will be available in travel retail from the end of March.

The treatment – the latest addition to the brand’s Anti-Aging Collection – is described as an alternative to injectable fillers. It is claimed to deliver an immediate plumping and lifting effect, while minimising the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Light-scattering polymethylmethacrylate and silicones, which address a wide range of age-related issues, are a key component. A non-invasive extract, derived from trees grown in India, increases tissue volume by boosting adipocyte (fat) storage in depressed areas of the skin to even out its surface. New “vectorized” technology, an injection-like mechanism, speeds delivery and intensifies its effect.

The formula is claimed to rebuild and re-organise the skin, reinforcing its essential architecture. A tri-functional peptide complex supports optimum levels of collagen and protects the skin from collagen-threatening enzymes. Its action is enhanced by a powerful floral extract (Spilanthes Acmella), said to activate the skin’s natural lifting properties.

The treatment also improves skin’s overall tone and texture. Kopara Ecosystems Complex, found in Tahitian saltwater lagoons, is a rich source of essential minerals that stimulate skin regeneration and lead to a smooth, radiant complexion, the brand maintains. Yeast Ferment helps the skin optimise cellular oxygen intake and plumps the skin by amplifying its moisture content.

Lastly, Acai Extract, Magnolia Officinalis Bark Extract and Vitamin E acetate work together to stave off the potential damage of free radicals. And La Prairie’s Exclusive Cellular Complex plays its customary role in helping stimulate the skin’s natural regeneration process and providing the hydration and nutrients that encourage optimal functioning.

The new Anti-Aging Anti-Wrinkle Eye Line Filler is said to be an ideal complement to La Prairie’s existing Anti-Aging Eye Cream SPF 15.

The treatment is presented in a cylindrical silver plastic bottle with a satin silver band. It will be priced domestically at €102 for 15ml.
