H1N1 (swine) flu iPhone application

Harvard Medical School has launched an iPhone application designed to provide consumers with the latest information on the H1N1 flu virus.
The Boston-based Harvard Health Publications Division of the school created the application, which includes information on the state of the pandemic’s spread; practical steps consumers can take to minimize risk of infection; key flu symptoms; and advice on steps to take in case of a suspected infection. It includes video as well as text content, animated illustrations and a link to government databases.
The application also includes information on how businesses can best prepare for the flu outbreak.
The H1N1 application is the first in a series that Harvard plans to introduce for the Apple iPhone and other devices. It was co-developed by The Imagine Network.
The Swine Flu Application includes:
- Videos, animations and text that allow you to learn the basics about swine flu
- How to reduce the risk to you and your family
- How to prepare your business for the pandemic
- The app also features real-time updates and news from Harvard Med School about H1N1
