gesichtsmassageIf you are passionate about staying young and beautiful, but can’t afford a cosmetic surgeon, another tool has been added to the anti-aging arsenal and you can get it for a few hundred dollars. The FDA-approved laser device is said to reduce wrinkles, and you can use it yourself at home.

Co-anchor Julie Chen reported on The Today Show that although the at-home laser has not yet hit the market, demand for the product is already mounting. The personal laser promises to be an affordable cosmetic option for millions of consumers who don’t have thousands to spend on professional laser resurfacing.

But does it work? Dermatologist Paul Frank considers the product to be “a step above the lotions and potions that have shown to have some anti-aging properties.” But Dr. Frank cautioned that the device “can only produce a single digit fraction of results as compared to what you can get in a dermatologist’s office.”

The at-home instrument administers laser light columns from the tip of a hand-held rod and can be used on all facial wrinkles, including those around the eyes. It’s considered safe and effective if properly used, but Dr. Frank expressed concern about the possibility of over-use and abuse by zealous consumers.

  1. Very interesting…I think they use that same machinery when they give facials and stuff like that.

My favorite ways of staying young are reducing stress, drinking lots of water, and having LOTS of sex.

It has been shown in studies that men who have sex 4 to 5 times a week look at least 10 years younger than men who only have sex twice a week. They attribute it to an increase in testosteronne…take a look here:

When will the tripollar facial device named, STOPtm developed for home use be available for consumers in Canada or the United States soon? This device has been available for over the counter purchase in certain European countries for quite a while now.

I might have nagged you previously about this gadget as I’d love to get my hand on one without having to import it from England.

I often wonder why Europe is so ahead of us in North America when it comes to the avialability of over the counter beauty gadgets. There is as great a market for such items over here.
